Description

MACA, also known as Lepidium meyenii is a plant in the Brassicaceae family. The root of the plant is dried, powdered, and used to make supplements which are often used for fatigue reduction and libido support.

Recommended Dosage

We recommend taking a dosage of 1,000 mg – 2,000 mg (2-4 capsules) per day on an empty stomach. We don’t recommend exceeding 4,000 mg (8 capsules) per day.

Side Effects

MACA is a very safe and well tolerated supplement, and no toxicity has been observed at typical doses. Side effects are rare, but if taken in the late afternoon or evening some people experience insomnia. GI discomfort has also been reported in some people.
