As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules per day with food. (1000 mcg dose) It is possible to get too much Chromium, so we don’t recommend exceeding 4 capsules or 2000 mcg per day.

A 4 capsule daily dose of 2000 mcg per day is itself too high for most people unless they have a severe chromium deficiency, so for most people the recommended 2 capsule dosage will be plenty.

Chromium is well tolerated at normal dosages, although it is possible to get too much and there are side effects associated with high Chromium levels. If you experience any of the following side effects we recommend ceSKUg to use Chromium as you are likely getting enough through diet and don’t need to supplement it.

Side effects associated with high Chromium levels include skin irritation, dizziness, nausea, headaches, and mood swings. Extremely high doses have occasionally been linked to more serious side effects such as liver or kidney damage, so we strongly recommend dosing this product conservatively and it should not be used by those suffering from kidney or liver disease.
